Launched in 2022 by Heysea Yachts, one of Asia's most closely watched builders, this 42 meter charter yacht was designed for owners and guests who want long-range comfort without sacrificing the intimacy of a smaller vessel.
Captain Gordon Ross has commanded her since the day she left the shipyard, and that continuity shows. A crew of ten, drawn from stewardship, culinary, and deckhand backgrounds, runs the yacht with the kind of quiet precision that regular charter guests notice immediately and rarely find elsewhere in the region.
Six cabins accommodate up to twelve guests overnight, or twenty for day cruising, spread across a penthouse master suite with its own dressing area and marble ensuite, a VIP stateroom, and a mix of double and twin cabins. The salon's floor-to-ceiling windows keep the surrounding limestone karsts and open water constantly in view, whether guests are dining at the eight-seat marble table or settling into the forward Jacuzzi at sunset.
The sundeck, free of any steering station, functions purely as a leisure space with a full wet bar and dining for group gatherings. Based in Thailand from November through April, Song of Songs extends into the Mergui Archipelago, the Andaman Islands, Malaysia's east coast, the Philippines, and Japan during the green season from May to October. With a range over 2,000 nautical miles and a cruising speed of 12 knots, she's equally suited to a week among Phang Nga Bay's limestone islands or a longer passage further afield.
Onboard, a private chef builds each charter's menu around fresh seafood, wagyu, and paired wines, while jet skis, paddleboards, and snorkeling gear keep the more active hours filled. For milestone celebrations, honeymoons, or corporate retreats, the crew handles event logistics from florals to lighting without disrupting the yacht's underlying sense of calm.
